PASAR Foundation
In our aim to promote harmonious relationship with the community, we have launched the PASAR Foundation, Inc. (PFI) in May 2005.
Our foundation believes that it is, “A viable and leading social development arm of PASAR actively working with target communities attains improved and sustainable quality of life.”
Inspired by the saying, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime;” PFI focuses on sustainable development programs designed to teach people how to help themselves.
The foundation aims to empower the youth by providing quality education, skills and leadership development, the protection and conservation of the environment, and poverty alleviation through enterprise and community development.
Some of the foundation’s recent activities are participating in the International Coastal Cleanup last September 15 and organizing a Summer Reading Program to students of Monte Alegre Elementary School.
Currently the foundation have already given over 400 hundred scholarship grants since 2008.
